We also provide open to all courses at least once a month at our two approved training centres in Langtoft, Lincolnshire and Oundle, Northamptonshire. The maximum number of delegates that we present to is again 20 and the total cost of attendance per delegate is £65.00, which includes the VAT element of the training and also the DSA registration fee of £8.75 per delegate (zero VAT). As an approved training centre (JAUPT Approved Training Centre Number AC00184) and also in partnership with an IoTA consortium member we can provide a variety of approved Driver CPC Periodic Training to both goods vehicle and passenger transport drivers.
We specialise in putting together bespoke compliance packages and this includes training courses. However, we do have several off-the-shelf approved modular courses that count towards the required 35 hours of approved training to be undertaken every five years to ensure vocational drivers gain their Driver Qualification Card (DQC). they include:

Operator Awareness One Day Course / Transport Manager Refresher Two Day Course - We are providers of a one-day 'Operator Awareness Course', as well as an intensive two-day Transport Manager Refresher Course. Do not be fooled into thinking these two courses have the same content. Nor should you ever infer to the Traffic Commissioners that they are the same! If you are unfortunate enough to be 'called up' by the Traffic Commissioner due to some issues regarding non-compliance there is every chance that you and/or your nominated Transport Manager will be expected to attend one of the two refresher courses above, to ensure you are up to date on the rules and regulations.
Make sure that you understand fully what the Commissioner expects you to learn during this course attendance, by discussing it with your advocate (i.e. the Solicitor that represented you) at the time of the Public Inquiry (PI). We can then tailor a one or two day course to suit your exact requirements and provide this service to you in your own offices or a venue of your choice and provided by you, to up to five delegates and at a time to suit you, at a total day rate cost of only £385.00 + VAT for the one day course covering the five delegates and £660.00 + VAT for the two day course, which includes any accommodation costs incurred by Truck UK trainers. What's more one day is JAUPT approved and provides delegates with DSA registration against their mandatory Driver CPC periodic training requirement.
As these are in-company courses the content can be tailored to your own operation and we strongly recommend that you make available your compliance records at the time the course takes place, so that they can be looked at and referred to during the course. We guarantee confidentiality. Our service will include the provision of recommendations for improvements to your existing procedures, if appropriate, including providing templates etc..as part of the above service and included within the fees quoted above.
